Os Mutantes
Yes, for those who know they, I’m talking about music once again.
My last addiction so far. Psychedelic music (brazilian psychedelic one, I mean). Os Mutantes represent nicely this genre. I advice Tecnicolor for it being sung in English (almost all songs).
Infinite Looping?
I know that is not true. One day I’ll stop hearing this song, even if that day is the day I die, or became deaf, or else.
I am talking about Dancing Behind My Eyelids, from múm. Just hear for yourself (this is a fan video, so focus on the song):
Well, my last.fm profile says that I listened to such song 120 times (by the time of this writing). This happened onlylast week, and i think this number will jump to about 200 or so.
It’s a dumb music indeed with dumb lyrics, but I like it anyway.
What a great coincidence!
Just when I start to listen to some Sigur Rós songs, QC publishes a strip containing a portrait with it. Awesome coincidence.
So much pain in the world today
So much pain in the world today.
Too many turds are headin’ my way.
But we can press our turds together.
Passing by turds whenever.
Don’t you know? Isn’t…
Life so full of happiness?
Feel free to mark my words.
But me and you, will my love do
in a world that’s full of turds? TURDS!
llama judgin finger-lovin’ turds. TURDS!
Trent Reznor kicks ass!
While reading the news, I came through this one stating that Trent Reznor (vocalist from Nine Inch Nails) apologies with music stealing (at least their own music). Bellow the youtube video where he says:
Has anyone seen the price come down? Okay, well, you know what that means — Steal it. Steal away. Steal and steal and steal some more and give it to all your friends and keep on stealin’. Because one way or another these motherfuckers will get it through their head that they’re ripping people off and that’s not right.
Trent Reznor is fucking awesome, not because he is telling about steal his own music, but he’s confronting his label, and really don’t give a shit about what they’re thinking. If NIN CD’s prices are high, so steal ‘em!
